2008
Limited scope for process supervisors
For the process participants with a supervisor role, it will be possible to define a restricted scope based on the process data, macros and user properties. E.g: Departmental supervisors will have supervisor access only to the requests done in their departments.
BETA VERSION AVAILABLE ON REQUEST!
Extended Web Service API
The WorkflowGen administration and portal features will be available via a new Web Service API. It will be possible to manage users, processes, applications and have access to request data and statuses from 3rd party applications via web services in real time.
RSS extended support
The contents of the WorkflowGen portal will be available as RSS feeds. Users will be able to syndicate/register these feeds in any Web Portal solution or any RSS compliant tool like Outlook 2007.
Online database backup
A new option will allow process file data (including attachments) to be stored stored in the database. This new feature will provide a solution to perform online WorkflowGen data backup without interrupting service (during the backup, WorkflowGen users can continue to work).
Dashboard templates for BI solutions
Ready to use and customizable reports and dashboard templates will be available.
Workflow deployment process library
A set of WorkflowGen processes will be available to manage workflow deployment scenarios (associated web forms and web services included). E.g: Validate the deployment of new process/workflow applications on a production server. These processes will be customizable according to the clients’ requirements.
WorkflowGen for mobile
It will be possible to browse the WorkflowGen Portal via a PDA and perform workflow actions.
